Al Smith! The awesome four-time NY guv'nor who got his education at the Fulton Fish Market and claimed he and his father were the first people to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. He was a man of the people who eventually was corrupted. He also was the Democratic candidate for president who lost to Herbert Hoover, possibly because his crazy accent didn't jibe on the national stage. I love Al Smith. And I will love Al Smith even more.
Al could be good, good indeed. Or maybe "Uncorrupted Al Smith"
